LTFRB closes offices as staff undergo swab tests


The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) will temporarily close its Metro Manila and Central offices to make way for the swab testing of its personnel.

In an announcement, the LTFRB said these offices will be shut down from Thursday, April 22 to Monday, April 26.

The LTFRB told the public that while there will be no on-site transactions during the period, the receiving section of its technical division will still be functioning.

Meanwhile, the following transactions can be processed online:

• request for special permit of correction of typographical error (online.td@[email protected])
• request for confirmation of unit/s of request for franchise verification ([email protected])
• request for issuance of Extension Provisional Authority ([email protected])
• and legal concerns/ queries ([email protected])

Applicants can file a request by filling up a form that can be downloaded from the LTFRB website. The form may then be emailed to the concerned division.

For other information, the LTFRB urged the public to call its 24/7 hotline 1342 or contact them through [email protected]. For inquiries and transactions with LTFRB-NCR, the public may use Public Transport Online Processing System (PTOPS) at ncr-ltfrb.pisopay.com.ph/en.
