A total of 22,934 individuals composed of health workers, senior citizens, and adults with comorbidities were already inoculated with Sinovac and AstraZeneza vaccines in Pasay City.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the city government’s “Vacc to the Future” vaccination program has finished inoculating 22,934 individuals with their first vaccine dose.
Rubiano, however, said the vaccination was temporarily suspended on April 21 and will resume on Thursday, April 22, for the second dose of vaccines.
She said the vaccination for the first dose of other individuals that was temporarily suspended will immediately resume depending on the availability of the vaccines.
The mayor said the city is left with the second doses of vaccines for individuals who have already received their first doses.
Rubiano assured city residents that vaccination for the A2 and A3 category will resume immediately as soon as the next batch of vaccines is delivered to the city.
She said the city will continue with the inoculation of front line health workers, senior citizens, and adults with comorbidities who are scheduled to have their second doses while waiting for the delivery of new vaccine supplies.
