Thirty-six foreigners working without the necessary permits were arrested after Bureau of Immigration (BI) agents raided a “colorum” online gambling center in Pasay City.

Reports said that the Korean, Indonesian, and Chinese workers were caught inside the Double Dragon Plaza Tower 3.
BI Commissioner Jaime Morente said that as per the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, Double Dragon has no license to operate.
BI intelligence chief Fortunate Abat, Jr. said the casino carried out live studio gambling and other clandestine online gaming operations.
He said 40 persons were initially arrested, but four were subsequently released when they showed their passports and visas.
The BI chief warned foreign visitors not to take advantage of the current health crisis to do illegal activities in the country.
“We will continue arresting unwanted aliens, deport and permanently ban them from coming back,” Morente stated.
