According to Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, they have already handed out the cash aid to some 21,766 families or 72,082 individuals.

We are trying to speed up the distribution of financial assistance, but we are getting slow because the names of qualified beneficiaries must be posted first in barangay or on their online pages and at the city hall. If we don’t receive any complaint, then we immediately prepare the payroll for distribution),” Rubiano said.

The city government has already finished the distribution of financial assistance to 187 barangays.

Rubiano said they aim to finish the distribution of the financial assistance to the remaining 14 barangays on April 21.
