Last December to January, business operation has already back to its glory, however because of the surge of COVID-19 cases most businesses has stopped their operations), Rubiano said.

The mayor said she has allowed the opening of some hotels in the city to serve as quarantine facilities in order to help their employees.

I allowed hotels to resume operations to serve as quarantine facilities in order to help their employees and their business instead of keeping them totally closed), the mayor said.

Despite the low tax collection of the city government, Rubiano said the city government has standby funds to help the residents who were affected by the granular lockdowns.
