Bambol graces PSA Forum

Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) President Abraham ‘Bambol’ Tolentino talks about the country’s campaigns in the Tokyo Olympics and the Vietnam Southeast Asian Games, respectively, with vaccines for COVID-19 coming its way when he appears as special guest in Tuesday’s Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum online edition.

The incumbent representative of Cavite’s 8th district, and president of the Integrated Cycling Federation of the Philippines (Philcycling) will further discuss the POC’s purchase of the vaccines through the $40,000 subsidy it would receive from the Olympic Council of Asia for use of the Philippine contingent to the SEA Games from Nov. 21 to Dec. 2.

Meanwhile, port magnate Enrique Razon also earmarked to donate vaccines for the consumption of the country’s bets to the Tokyo Olympics.

Rio De Janeiro Olympic silver medalist Hidilyn Diaz is the latest Filipino to clinch a berth in the Tokyo Games following her stint in the Asian Weightlifting Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The 10:30 a.m. public sports program is presented by San Miguel Corporation (SMC), MILO, Amelie Hotel Manila, Braska Restaurant, and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).
