‘Bising’ intensified further into a record-breaking super typhoon, and it was fortunate that its center was situated out in open sea, with only its outer band affecting the country, according to a CNN report.

Nevertheless, it spawned heavy rains and huge waves in areas located on the country’s eastern seaboard.

Latest updates on ‘Bising’, as well as developments in the Philippine’s coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic response, are among our top stories this Sunday afternoon, April 18, 2021.
