Two three-year-old children perished in a 10-minute fire that hit a two-story house in Caloocan City Friday night.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) identified the victims as Kendal Janda and Mikho Cabansag.
"According to investigators, the children had no companions ," the BFP National Capital Region public information office told reporters.
The fire that hit the house, which was located on Ana Bustamante St. in Barangay 43, started around 6:35 p.m. at a bedroom on the first floor. Firefighters declared fire out at 6:44 p.m.
A total of 14 individuals from four families occupying the house were left homeless.
BFP pegged the amount of damage at P60,000.
