“As of today, marami pa ring dinadala sa amin na moderate to critical cases. Our occupancy for our COVID confirmed wards po is 94 percent as of 7 a.m. today,” (As of 7 a.m., our occupancy for COVID-19 confirmed wards is about 94 percent. More patients that are moderate to critical were brought to the hospital), according to Dr. John Victor De Gracia, officer-in-charge of the PCGH

De Gracia, in an interview with TeleRadyo, said the hospital continues to accept patients.

“Meron pa tayong konting available beds hindi pa tayo 100 percent full (We still have available beds and we not 100 percent full yet),” he said.

De Gracia said the hospital will prioritize accepting patients who are Pasay City residents but is open to accept those coming from outside the city.

He also said the hospital has accepted about 10 to 15 percent of patients who are non-Pasay residents.

He added that the hospital’s rescue unit will continue to give services to those who contract the virus.

De Gracia said 92 percent of their health care workers have already been vaccinated against COVID-19.

“Sa mga taga Pasay po, tuloy po tayo sa operations sa Pasay City General Hospital. Minsan po talagang full capacity na but we’re trying our best to accommodate lahat po ng cases na dinadala sa atin and hopefully bumababa na po ang mga cases sa community. Hopefully, maramdaman din natin sa ospital. Gusto rin sana namin na bumaba na rin na ang mga dinadalang COVID cases sa ospital (To all city residents, our hospital will continue to give services. There are times that our hospital reached its full capacity but we are trying our best to accommodate all the cases and we are hoping that COVID-19 cases being brought to the hospital will decrease),” De Gracia said.
