7,094 individuals get COVID-19 jabs in Pasay City

A total of 17, 094 individuals in Pasay City have already been given COVID-19 vaccine shots, the city government announced Thursday.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said that Pasay City’s vaccination program dubbed “Vacc to the Future” aims to inoculate all the city residents against COVID-19.

Citing the City Health Office’s record on April 14, Rubiano said individuals who received COVID-19 jabs include 3,783 health workers, 3,984 senior citizens, 6, 845 adults with comorbidities, and 924 health workers from Pasay City General Hospital and other medical institutions.

She said the city government is encouraging the residents to register online to determine the dates and places of their vaccination.

The mayor added that they also accept walk-in registrants, particularly senior citizens, who have no access to computers and internet.
