At least 12 families were affected by a fire that broke out at a residential area in Riverside, Brgy. Sauyo, Quezon City on Tuesday night.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Public Information Office, the fire started at around 8:16 p.m. at the one-story house of Nestor Aminal.
The fire reached the 2nd alarm and was declared under control at around 9:10 p.m.
Fire out was declared at around 9:28 p.m.
The estimated damage to property was P50,000. No casualties were reported.
According to the BFP, the cause of fire was reportedly a lighted candle that was left unattended.
