Valenzuela city lifts anti-hoarding, anti-panic buying ordinance

The city government of Valenzuela City lifted the Anti-Hoarding and Anti-Panic Ordinance on Monday (April 12) as the National Capital Region and other nearby provinces shifted to modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ).

With the lifting of the ordinance, supermarkets and groceries in the city will no longer limit the number of essential goods a customer can buy.

On March 29, Ordinance No. 669, Series of 2020, the Anti-Hoarding and Anti-Panic Buying measure, was imposed in the city due to the implementation of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).
