The best dressed stars at BAFTA Awards 2021

Even with the ongoing pandemic, the awards season carried on with the recent presentation of the British Academy Film Awards over the weekend. For the first time, the BAFTA Film Awards were held at the Royal Albert Hall in London, giving recognition to the past year’s honorable British and international films, as attended by the stars remotely or socially distanced.

Together celebrating BAFTAs 74th year, the stars attended the ceremony dressed to the nines while presenting awards or receiving recognition. Although most of the stars opted to wear monochromatic looks with silver and black, some of our favorites on the red carpet like Ashley Madekwe, Leslie Odom Jr., and Riz Ahmed shined in colored ensembles.

Here are our top fashion picks from one of the most important nights in British awards.

Priyanka Chopra-Jonas

Priyanka donned a sustainable ensemble from Roland van Der Kemp's archives. The presenter opted for a black body-hugging dress highlighted with butterfly wing details on the midriff area and completing the looks with a bold lip, curtain bangs, and an updo.

Renée Zellweger

Renée looked fit and fab in a mid-calf metallic dress from Armani Privé, nude shoes, and a bejeweled bangle.

Vanessa Kirby

Another star who opted for a metallic number was Vanessa Kirby. The “Pieces of a Woman” star went for a high-slit Atelier Versace dress, a sleek bun, and minimalist heels.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw

The British actress lit up like fireworks on the BAFTA red carpet. Gugu wore a metallic sequined dress from Louis Vuitton.

Phoebe Dyvenor

The “Bridgerton” actress opted for something solid, a black one shoulder dress from Louis Vuitton.

Kingsley Ben-Adir

Dressed in all-black, the actor went for a contemporary look with a turtleneck top and satin cinched suit from Dior Men.

Leslie Odom Jr.

While some actors preferred black and gray ensembles, Leslie Odom Jr. attended the awards in a bright blue suit and bright red coat from the house of Versace.

Riz Ahmed

“Sound of Metal” leading actor Riz Ahmed wore a printed turtleneck top, blue suit, and black platform shoes, all from Prada.

Ashley Madekwe

Supporting actress nominee for “County Lines” Ashley donned a lime yellow cut-out dress from Louis Vuitton.
