ADVISORY: Mall schedules under MECQ


Several malls have adjusted their operating hours as areas in the National Capital Region Plus (NCR Plus) bubble shifted to the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) this week.

SM & ROBINSONS

In an advisory, SM Supermalls said it will operate from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the MECQ period from April 12 to April 30.

SM said the following stories will be open to the public daily -- supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, hardware stores, its SM store, telecom, and computer shops, and other retail and services shops.

Robinsons’ mall hours will also be from 10 a.m. o 7 p.m. daily. Its supermarket, however, will have longer operating hours from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. starting April 13.

All establishments inside Robinsons will be open except entertainment and amusement centers, gyms and fitness centers, personal care services, internet cafes, and travel agencies.

Both SM and Robinsons said their restaurants will offer al fresco dining, take-out, and delivery services.

VISTA MALL

Vista Mall said its branches in Metro Manila will also operate from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Its branches in Cavite, Bulacan, Rizal, and Laguna, however, will only operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Al-fresco dining in Vista Mall restaurants will be allowed at 50 percent capacity.

Its pet shops, bookstores, IT shops, toy stores, fashion, and retail shops will also be open at 50 percent capacity.

MEGAWORLD

Megaworld’s malls in Metro Manila and Laguna will operate from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

It will also offer free parking during mall hours.

Essential stores such as groceries and pharmacies will be open in Megaworld malls.

AYALA MALLS

Ayala Malls, in an advisory, said it will only open essential stores such as "supermarkets, drugstores, bookstores, hardware stores, pet food and pet care supplies, banks, service providers (money transfers, couriers, telecommunications, internet, cable)."

Its retail stores will also be open but only at 50 percent capacity.

Ayala Malls’ gym, entertainment facilities, and personal care services will remain closed.

Ayala Malls Glorietta said it will operate from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays to Sundays.
