'Stop the blame game': Pialago gives key reminders in dealing with health crisis

Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Asec. Celine Pialago went full-on "big sister mode" to her Facebook followers at a time when the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic was seemingly taking a toll on everyone.

"We are in the middle of war. Stuck in pandemic ?. Pray harder. ?? And always be thankful to our loving Creator ?⛪️✝️??⛩?? #spreadloveandkindness," Pialago said in a post Saturday, April 10.

More importantly, the ex-beauty pageant contestant-turned-MMDA spokesperson gave key reminders on dealing with the health crises. These included practical tips to more spritual ones that people might tend not to give importance to, even if they should.

"Stay hydrated ?, stay indoor (not unless APOR or necessary) ?, don’t forget your vitamins even your maintenance ?, never skip your meal (breakfast, lunch and dinner)??, eat healthy (your choice of food matters)??, take time to jog ??‍♀️?‍♂️?? or any indoor workout (anything that works for you)?️‍♀️??, sleep atleast 8 hours a day??," she said.

The 28-year-old Pialago further told Filipinos to “stay sane” and to “get away toxic people”.

"Monitor your mental health ??‍♀️, save your remaining penny ? in case of emergency, spend your financial assistance properly ?????, don’t forget to smile ? and be positive in life ?, stop the blame game ????, help/assist others if you can. ?," added the lady official.

Her post has so far garnered over 34,000 likes and 10,000 heart reactions.

Pialago in her earlier posts talked about how COVID-19--especially with the disease's current surge--has affected a lot people that were close to her.

"Nakakadurog na ng puso itong COVID na ito (This COVID is crushing my heart)," she wrote last week.
