Kris Aquino tells son Bimby: 'What's important is that you know who you are'

Kris Aquino is back on social media!

This time, the Queen of All Media said that her upcoming online contents would limit the appearance of her sons Josh and Bimby.

"You're right. I agree. I'm party to blame kung bakit nadamay man ang mga anak ko. I'm taking full responsibility," said Kris after her sons were involved in name-calling controversies.

Kris now realized that she can never "shield" her children fully. But the seasoned celebrity thinks she could always choose what to show to the public.

"So ang sabi ko 'We will never be regular people.' Given yun. But I can choose what the regular people post. They post birthdays, they post trips, graduation ng anak, milestone moments. So that's the decision I made - yun ang mga papakita ko sa inyo. The regular things that regular people show to people. And that's my right," she said.

"Kung ano man mapapanuod niyo, you will see them, but you will see them duon sa mga events ng mga regular na tao. They will have enough privacy. But you will not get to see them as often as you used to."

Kris then shared her conversation with Bimby.

"I told him 'It's your choice. What you wanna do with your life and I will support you and I will just love you,'" she shared.

"'Hindi na natin kasalanan kung anong magiging opinyon nila about you,' I told him: 'But what's important is that you know who you are and you're not gonna be like them."

She declared how "proud" she is that she brought up a son who's "brave."
"Lahat ng mga sinabi ninyo sa kanya, sorry na lang, hindi niyo siya napaiyak. Ang napaiyak niyo yung nanay," Kris related.

But she pointed out how it taught her not to not talk when she's affected.

"Do not let them affect you because that's what they wanna do," she said.
Kris reiterated the best thing she has ever done in her life is to raise a "good kid."

"Despite everything, hindi feeling entitled. Marunong magpasalamat. Hindi spoiled," she noted.

And now that Bimby is turning 14 this month, Kris admitted it's making her "afraid" because "my baby is not a baby anymore."
