Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the payout of financial assistance to 646 heads of households from two barangays will be distributed simultaneously.

Rubiano said the payout amounting to P1,000 or up to P4,000 was distributed to 123 heads of families from Barangay 104 at the Zamora Elementary School.

Meanwhile, the payout for the 523 heads of families from Barangay 46 was held at the Rafael Palma School, she added.

The mayor also visited the two distribution centers to ensure the payout was in order and that health protocols were being followed.

Rubiano reminded all the beneficiaries to bring their valid identification cards (IDs). In case the head of the family is unable to claim, he or she must issue an authorization letter, along with the photocopy of his IDs and the authorized representative.

The city government received a P348-million fund from the national government for distribution to 123,000 beneficiaries approved by the Department of Social Welfare and Development-National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR).
