BTS, BLACKPINK, #NCTzens nominated at 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards

The US-based 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards announced this year’s nominees and they include K-pop artists and their fans.

This year, the awards ceremony will be held on May 27 at The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles starting at 8 p.m. ET (10 a.m. on May 28 in the Philippines).

K-pop boy band BTS got nominated for Best Duo/Group of the Year along with Dan + Shay, Jonas Brothers, Maroon 5 and twenty one pilots.

In fan-voted Best Music Video, BTS’ “Dynamite” and BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That” are nominated along with “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd, “Don’t Start Now” by Dua Lipa, “Hawái” by Maluma, “Life Is Good” by Future featuring Drake, “Rain On Me” by Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande, “WAP” by Cardi B featuring Megan Thee Stallion, “Watermelon Sugar” by Harry Styles and “Yummy” – Justin Bieber.

“Dynamite” is also nominated for Favorite Music Video Choreography courtesy of Son Sung Deuk, listed in the music video credits as one of those responsible for performance directing.

In the Best Fan Army, BLACKPINK’s #BLINK, BTS’ #BTSARMY and NCT 127’s #NCTzens bagged nominations.

Social voting has started and will end on May 19. Fans can vote on Twitter using the appropriate category and nominee hashtags or by going to iHeartRadio.com/awards.
