Fans are happy about Derek Ramsay being engaged to Ellen Adarna. How about his son Austin?
Well, according to Derek himself, he got his son's blessing.
"Before proposing I needed to get his blessing," he maintained. "So Austin was one of the first people I spoke to and he thinks it would be really cool if he had a younger brother."
Derek detailed that Austin also "adores" his soon-to-be wife.
"He thinks she's cool and he's like 'I want you to be happy.'"
The hunk actor believes that Ellen's energy and presence actually turned his world around.
"Everything is just falling into places," was how he put it.
He noted how the thing he has been praying the most just came true after their engagement.
"I've been praying for the most, is for my son to call me dad, and that happened like a day after the whole proposal. I broke down into tears. I couldn't even handle myself. I ran straight to Ellen. She thought somebody died or something. And my son told me the other day that he promised himself to call me dad when he sees me getting engaged."
