TNC Predator showed solid chemistry with its all-Filipino roster as it decimated Galaxy Racer in the opening match of the Asia Pacific Predator League 2020/2021 Grand Final on Tuesday, April 6.

The trio of carry Kim "Gabbi" Santos, midlaner Armel "Armel" Tabios and position-4 support Timothy "Tims" Randrup displayed cohesion with new teammates position-5 Marvin "Boomy" Rushton and offlaner Jun "Bok" Kanehara in their first professional match together.

Boomy and Bok, former Smart Omega standouts and SEA Games gold medalists from Adroit Esports, played their first pro game with TNC jerseys on since replacing Kim "Febby" Yong Min and Damien "kpii" Chok early last month.

Boomy on his Clockwerk and Bok on his Mars immediately made their presence felt with multiple setups through their ultimate skills to help TNC post a dominant 31-15 victory in the knockout game in just 29 minutes.

The two Cebuano stars combined for 41 assists on top of eight kills against nine deaths.

Armel's Leshrac led the killing spree with 14 kills and eight assists against a lone death while Gabbi's Medusa which secured a Divine Rapier tallied a 5-2-16 kill-death-assist record and Tim's Phoenix finished with 4-3-19.

TNC advanced to the upper bracket quarterfinals against PTSR on Wednesday.

All matches are in a do-or-die format except for the grand finals which is a best-of-three battle.
