Anne Curtis-Smith has received some backlash after she shared her two cents on the increase of COVID-19 cases a few days ago.

Anne describes the spike in the number of cases as "alarming."

"Specially knowing that not everyone can/has gotten tested," she added.

Anne asked about the government's plan against on the surge of COVID-19 cases.

"What are the next steps? I would like to think that everyone understands we have to take the necessary precautions to stay safe.. but..

"it would be nice to be given more light on what is to happen while waiting for vaccines to arrive.. so with what hope we have left we can work together as a nation…"

Another added: "Miss Curtis if I may… THERE IS REALLY AN ALARMING INCREASE IN CASES, NOT JUST IN THE PHILIPPINES BUT ALL OVER THE WORLD. I SUGGEST YOU FOLLLOW GOVERNMENT PAGES IF STILL YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THE PLANS ARE. INSTEAD OF CREATING PANIC, WHY DON'T YOU JUST ADVOCATE FELLOW FILIPINOS IN."

Anne lectured naysayers to read her tweets first.

"For those who didn’t ever bother to read the second half of my tweet and have instead opted to lash out with harsh words," she wrote. "GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU! Happy Easter everyone!"
