PRC: April 2021 Pharmacy Licensure Examination to be conducted only in MGCQ areas

The Pharmacy Licensure Examination (PhLE) scheduled on April 25 to 26 will be held only in areas where modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) in effect, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said.

As such, the PhLE will only be conducted only in Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Zamboanga, and in Rosales, Pangasinan.

"Only the examinees assigned to the above examination venues shall be allowed to take the PhLE as scheduled," the PRC said in a statement.

This measure was pursuant to the directives of the Interagency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) "to postpone the conduct of April 2021 Licensure Examinations in areas under the General Community Quarantine (GCQ) to avoid cross-border transfer of examinees," according to the PRC.

"Affected examinees will be taking their examination on appropriate dates to be determined by the Professional Regulation Commission and approved by the IATF-MEID," it said.

For further queries and concerns, the agency encouraged the public to send an email to the concerned PRC Regional Office. The contact information can be found through this link: https://www.prc.gov.ph/regional-offices-contact-information.
