Anchor Land to provide employees with free vaccines

Real estate developer Anchor Land announced that it will provide free COVID-19 vaccines to all of its employees.

“The safety and well-being of our employees are always our priority. Our vaccination program is anchored on our commitment to caring for them,” Anchor Land Chief Executive Officer Steve Li said.

He added that, “We are encouraging all our employees to take part of the program for their protection against COVID-19.”

According to Li, the company’s vaccination program is on a voluntary basis and that the company management has started its information campaign.

“Since early this year, we have been communicating the importance of the vaccine to help our employees make informed decisions,” Anchor Land President Elizabeth Ventura said.

She noted that, “More than half of our employees have already signed up for the program.”

Prior to the development of the vaccines, Anchor Land provided support to its employees by carrying out free COVID-19 RT-PCR tests and regularly distributing face masks and vitamin C.

These were on top of its health measures to maintain a healthy and safe work environment.

Li said that the company will follow the guidelines set by the COVID-19 task force and the Department of Health for the rollout of its vaccination program.

“Our vaccination program is our support to the government’s effort in ending the ongoing public health crisis. The earlier we all get vaccinated, the earlier the country can bounce back,” added Li.
