Pilmico Foods Corp., a subsidiary of Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Inc. (AEV), said it will ensure the efficient and fast delivery of quality meat under its ‘The Good Meat’ brand especially during the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) within Metro Manila and nearby areas.
In a statement, Pilmico said The Good Meat looks to expand its services to more Filipinos as it plans to open a store in online shopping application Shopee and other marketplaces within the next few months.
To recall, it was just in June last year when The Good Meat launched its online shops, the goodmeat.ph. At the same time, it also started offering its products through its flagship store in Lazada.
“We have easily transitioned our business model to adapt to the new normal. Guided by our core value of innovation, being abreast with technology gave us the leverage to bring our top quality products in the convenience and safety of our customers’ households,” said Pilmico Vice President for Farm Sales and Meat Business Hendel P. Cabral.
Meanwhile, The Good Meat will also be available in select Robinsons Supermarket branches in Pangasinan by April, allowing customers to choose from its wide variety of pork and beef meats, both fresh cuts and marinated, as well as its ready-to-cook and heat-n-serve products for busy customers looking for faster options.
Pilmico is currently comprised of four divisions: Flour, Feeds, Farms, and Trading. It is integrated with Gold Coin Management Holdings, the pioneer in animal nutrition and the manufacturing of scientifically-balanced animal feed in Asia.
Combined, Pilmico and Gold Coin represent one of the largest privately-owned agribusinesses in Asia Pacific region, with over 2,900 partners throughout the multitude of production facilities across 11 countries in Asia.
