WTFu (What the FU) by MR. FU: Lockdown thoughts

The current worldwide pandemic has resulted quarantine year 1 for the country and enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) Season 2 for Metro Manila (humahabol sa "Ang Probinsyano" series ha!) and we don’t know what’s next. (sana naman end of story na ang pandemya!) But one thing is certain, each of us has his own realizations. (narealize ko, hindi pala talaga ako bading. Chos!) I asked some celebrity friends on their thoughts about our quarantine life. (friends ko ba talaga sila?!)

Luke Mejares:

Luke Mijares

Multi-awarded singer Luke Mejares, discovers his hidden talent from the work-from-home set-up (ay may video calls ba ito bro?!)

“I am blessed that I still get gigs every now and then, kahit virtual lang. Pero ang isa sa nadiscover ko sa sarili ko, kaya ko pala maging on-line seller ng beauty products na karamihan ay pambabae. At nakakayang sagutin yung mga tanong ng mga customers kung paano gamitin yung mga beauty products. (laughs)” Luke shares. (ay paexperience nyan, basta kasama ka bro pag dineliver sakin!)

Wilma Doesnt:

Wilma Doesnt

Model-actress-host Wilma Doesnt admits, the pandemic has affected her emotionally and financially but her family inspires her to overcome her fears. “I was able to discover myself! Parang beaucon 'yan noh! Kidding aside, I value more what I have. At napatunayan ko na sa oras ng kagipitan at lungkot, yung family mo will always be there.” (biglang segue sa the kantang: I’ll Be There”!)

Adrian Alandy:

Adrian Alandy

Talented actor Adrian Alandy believes that prayers made him survive in this unfortunate situation. ( awwww. Parang gusto kitang ihug bro!)

“Sa isang taon natin sa quarantine ang narealize ko na you have to enjoy life that is given to you because in an instant pwede itong mawala sa'yo. Be thankful for what you have and for each day that you are alive. Always choose to be happy and trust God,” Adrian says. (mukhang namiss kita bro.. tara…)

Valeen Montenegro:

Valeen Montenegro

Actress-host Valeen Montenegro hopes to give more time with friends and loved ones. (kasali ba ako rito babe?)

“After a year of quarantine I discovered that human interaction is very important, and I took that for granted all these years! I never knew/ appreciated the time and effort I put, just to see a friend, meet up for coffee or just catch up. Every time I have work or get a chance to meet my family and friends I catch myself being so talkative and tired because i get so excited and happy. Therefore, I conclude..(laughs) That talking to friends and loved ones every so often kept me sane all these years, “ Valeen narrates. (pero pag ako kausap mo babe, nababaliw ka!)

Director Monti Parungao:

Monti Parungao

TV and film director Monti Parungao makes the pandemic experience a way to discover his courage and love for others. (pasok candidate number 45!)

“In one year of quarantine life I discovered my own strength, resiliency and calmness. Kaya ko pala magtiis nang kalmado. I just wish to continue to spread love and happiness to family and friends. That we will be together in going back to how life was,” Direk Monti says. (totoo yan. Thank you Ms. Ghana!)
