Over 11, 000 individuals have been inoculated against COVID-19 in Pasig City, Mayor Vico Sotto said on Wednesday (March 31).
As of March 30, Sotto said a total of 11, 262 people in Pasig received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
“Alinsunod sa DOH (Department of Health) Prioritization Guidelines, inuuna po natin ang mga exposed na exposed sa COVID-19: hospital workers, private health care professionals, non-medical covid responders, atbp (In accordance with the DOH Prioritization Guidelines, we prioritize those exposed to COVID-19: hospital workers, private health care professionals, non-medical covid responders, etc.),”he posted on Twitter.
The mayor said the vaccination of people with comorbidities in the city is still ongoing.
“Nakapag-generate na rin tayo ng listahan ng unang listahan ng may comorbidities mula sa Pasig Health Monitor na sa kasalukuyan ay binabakunahan na rin (We have also been able to generate a list of those with comorbidities from Pasig Health Monitor who are currently being vaccinated as well),” the mayor said.
Sotto said the city government’s profiling for other sectors is still ongoing.
“Dahil hindi po lahat ay may internet [connection], may efforts din tayo gamit ang telepono at house-to-house (Since not everyone has internet connection, we also have efforts using phone and house-to-house),” he said.
