Former President Joseph Estrada was tested positive for COVID-19, according to his son former Senator Jinggoy Estrada.
In a report by ABS-CBN March 29, the former-actor-turned politician was rushed to the hospital after he felt weak.
Reports said the 13th president of the Philippines is in stable condition.
Actor-businessman Jake Ejercito, son of Joseph Estrada, asked prayers for the full recovery of his 83-year-old father.
"Our dad, former president Joseph Estrada, tested positive for COVID-19. He’s now confined in a hospital and is in stable condition. Please pray for his recovery and the recovery of everyone affected by the virus," said Jake on Twitter.
