San Juan City Mayor Francisco Zamora said on Thursday, March 25, that the city plans to establish the San Juan Solo Parents Office in an effort to support the needs of solo parents living and working in the city.
It is important to have a solo parents association and strengthen it because we know how difficult it is to be a solo parent especially during this pandemic),” Zamora said.
The mayor said the the first step for this initiative is to support the interim heads of the association and to properly set up the San Juan Solo Parents Office at the city hall.
The office is needed for the management of programs and projects that can help solo parents in San Juan and their children),” Zamora said.
At present, there are over 1000 members of their organization that we immediately helped by means of providing them with food packs).” Zamora added.
