A two-hour fire that is believed to be caused by faulty electrical connection resulted in the loss of property of some 170 families in Barangay San Juan, in Taytay, Rizal Thursday night, March 25.
Reports from the Bureau of Fire Protection of Taytay, Rizal show that the blaze has displaced at least 170 families whose houses are located at Sitio Sapang Godi in Barangay San Juan before 9 p.m. on March 25.
Firefighters said the fire is believed to have started from one of the houses that is being used as a garment manufacturing area.
The displaced families were evacuated to a school building near the area where the fire happened.
