PGH warns public on fake RT-PCR reports


The Philippine General Hospital (PGH) warned the public of individuals using the hospital’s RT-PCR (Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction) report forms to fake their test results.

“We have received reports of falsified or fake negative results using the PGH SARS-CoV-2 Reverse Transcription PCR (RT-PCR) report forms,” the PGH said in an advisory on March 22.

The PGH also encouraged the public to check the authenticity of the RT-PCR reports.
