“We’re about to surprise some people on Zoom who think they’re in a focus group about a cooking show. They have no idea this is going to happen,” said Fallon.

The two started by pretending that they have mistakenly entered a room in the Zoom call.

“Michelle, thank you for coming on the show, I’m excited for our interview,” Fallon said.

The random people on the Zoom call were left puzzled.

“Thanks so much for having me,” replied Obama. “Are these all your friends?” she asked Fallon.

“Is this real?” one person then asked.

“What’s happening right now?” the other added. “Are you kidding me right now?”

“It is real. We’re in the wrong Zoom call,” Fallon said as Obama quickly left the room.

In another room, Obama was seen hiding her face behind her memoir, “Becoming,” while Fallon was holding a copy of her husband Barack Obama’s book, “A Promised Land,”

“Jimmy, wrong book!” Obama says. “Wrong book, Jimmy! I think we’re in the wrong Zoom.””

One person then asked, “Was that for real?”

“No, you’re in the right Zoom,” one person said. The other one shouted, “Stay!”

Obama joined Fallon in the show to promote her new Netflix children’s cooking series, Waffles + Mochi.
