Beds intended for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) patients at the Pasay City General Hospital (PCGH) have reached 100 percent occupancy as of 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 18.
Dr. John Victor De Gracia of PCGH said in a text message that they are at full capacity and all 32 beds have been occupied.
He added that they will no longer accept COVID-19 patients.
"No more. Will refer to One Hospital Command Center," he said.
"May 2 pa kami na COVID patients sa ER isol rooms so talagang punong-puno na kami. Wala na malipatan (We have two more COVID-19 patients at the Emergency Room isolation rooms so we're really full. We have nowhere else to put them)," he added.
COVID-19 cases continue to spike in Pasay City which has been tagged as a high-risk area.
As of its last update at 7 p.m. on March 17, the city has logged a total of 877 active cases with 97 new cases.
