Actor Eddie Garcia’s last surviving child Erwin succumbed to complications of liver disease. He was 65.

The news was confirmed by Facebook user Angelica Laser Esquillon, who wrote last March 13: "Today is his birthday and also the day he crossed the other side. His favorite line “Goodbye, cruel world” is perfect for today. RIP Tito Erwin Garcia."

"We will post details as soon as we have arranged everything," she continued, then tagging Erika Garcia, Erwina Garcia, and Jay-r Garcia.

"Please continue praying for our family."

On the social media account of Erwina, she asked her friend's help with her dad's condition.

"Hello friends and all good samaritans out there. Dad is currently in the ICU fighting for his life. My family and I are asking for help for blood donation/s. If you want to donate, pwede po pumunta sa Cardinal Santos Medical Center between 7am to 7pm. Punta lang po sa blood bank sa Cardinal, sa may laboratory office located then sabihin donating for Erwin Scharnberg Garcia," her post read.

"Thank you in advance for your help po. We will highly appreciate it especially A+ donations which he badly needs right now. but of course any blood type is also a great help. And prayers, too. Thanks again!"

Meanwhile, in an interview with ABS-CBN, Representative Mikee Romero expressed sadness with the passing of Erwin.

“It’s very sad that after two years, sumunod na si Erwin kay Tito Eddie,” said he, relating that he and the second born of the late seasoned actor - the longtime partner of his mother Lilibeth Romero -- were close.

"Komedyante kasi yon," he related.

Then he revealed that all three children of Eddie are now gone.

It was reported that Erwin’s older brother, Eddieboy, died in motorcycle accident in the 1970s while younger sister Elizabeth passed on in the ’90s due to heart disease.
