PCG’S one-stop-shop monitoring center on quarantine procedures opens


If you are a returning Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) and has concerns and issues quarantine procedures, the Philippine Coast Guard could certainly help you.

This, as the PCG opened to public the One Stop Shop Monitoring and Action Center (OSSMAC) that will be operational for 24 hours.

The PCG said the monitoring center is available to answer concerns and issues of the returning OFWs and foreign nationals who may encounter challenges on their quarantine procedures or while on their mandatory isolation pending the release of their swab test results.

“ROFs and foreign nationals who are still planning their trips back to the Philippines may also contact the OSSMAC to seek information and/or guidance, specifically about the latest IATF resolutions and related advisories,” the Coast Guard said in a statement.

The PCG said at least 22 Coast Guard personnel are manning the OSSMAC to ensure safe and convenient arrival and turnover of OFWs or foreign nationals to their concerned local government units (LGUs).
