Veteran actress and vlogger Aiko Melendez believes it is time to share nuggets of acting wisdom to the next generation of aspiring and rising stars.
As she shared in her vlog, “I started acting when I was six years old, I played the role of a young Snooky Serna.
“It wasn’t easy becoming an actress because there are so many struggles, so many challenges. But that didn’t stop me from aiming (to be) what I wanted to be in this industry.”
And she fulfilled her dreams.
Back in 2005, Aiko won the Best Actress Award at the International Film Festival Manhattan and at the London International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinemas for the movie “Asintado.”
The “Prima Donna” star added, “I told myself, one day, I’m going to have an acting award. And I’m just so blessed that I didn’t just have one, I have a lot of recognition not just from here in our country but abroad as well.”
She added, “Now’s the time. I want to share to everyone the talent that I have in acting.”
