VIRAL: What's the only thing this PWD vendor asked for?

This pandemic has been challenging for the whole world, even more so for those who are handicapped because movement is more limited compared to regular people.

For seven years, Melbert Carreon has witnessed this PWD vendor selling tomatoes and calamansi in their area in Golden Shower, Payatas. Carreon shared that the vendor has a hard time talking since half of his body is paralyzed. But despite his condition, he treads on. Because if he doesn't make any sales, then he won't have money to buy food.

Carreon further shared that kids would make fun of the vendor, but this didn't affect him as well. The PWD vendor also asked Carreon to help him write a letter to Quezon City councillor Mikey Belmonte, asking for a "kariton" so he can place his wares there to sell.

The post has gone viral because of how resilient the vendor is. Netizens have been praising him for the simplicity of his request—a kariton.
