Harry Roque has been news staple of late, no thanks to his loquaciousness.
He’s back at it, this time comparing the ongoing lockdown due to the pandemic to a “year-long vacation.”
Not everyone agrees.
Among them is comedienne Pokwang.
She tweeted her sentiment thus: “Hindi po bakasyon ang tawag doon sir!
She ended it with, “Kung ganyan ang bakasyo(n) e di ayoko na mag bakasyon.”
Roque has earned strong criticism after he defended President Duterte’s decision to declare All Souls’ Day (Nov. 2), Christmas Eve (Dec. 24) and New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31) as special working holidays.
Siguro naman po, ngayong nandito na ang bakuna, hayaan naman nating maka-recover tayo for lost time,” said Roque.
In a virtual presscon on Tuesday, Roque clarified that his remark was taken out of context.
