The Department of Science and Technology (DOST)-Calabarzon has hurdled the surveillance audit conducted virtually by Cologne-based TÜV Rheinland for its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification.

The DOST-Calabarzon said “no non-conformities” have been found during the remote surveillance audit held on March 2 for the agency’s certification on ISO 9001:2015.
“The external auditors found no non-conformities while the three minor non-conformities from the previous audit were successfully addressed,” it said in a Facebook post.
It said the following processes were audited: scientific and technology transfer services, science promotion, science and technology information dissemination, and science and technology scholarships.
The virtual whole-day audit was conducted at selected sites.
These included DOST-Calabarzon regional office, and Provincial Science and Technology Center (PSTC) in Laguna and Cavite. Officials and staff of DOST-Calabarzon participated in the remote surveillance audit.
