SEAT SALE ALERT: Book your travel flight for as low as P1

Cebu Pacific celebrates 25th anniversary through numerous seat sales

This is not a drill!

Despite being in the middle of COVID-19 pandemic, local airline company Cebu Pacific is holding its annual P1 fare seat in celebration of its 25th anniversary.

In a media conference held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing and customer experience, Candice Iyog, announced that the sale is happening from March 3 to 5, 2021.

“We will be announcing our one-peso seat sale on all domestic destinations, beginning tomorrow, or midnight tonight. The sale will run from March 3 to 5. It'll be for travel from June to December ,” she says.

Iyog also said that this sale is timely as the Inter-Agency Task Force Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) recently issued a resolution stating that testing and quarantine for travelers are no longer mandatory.

“Travel restrictions and requirements, really are on top of the considerations and concerns of travelers now when they make the decision to travel again,” she says. “Now the good news is, last Friday,  IATF issued resolution 101 simplifying the travel protocols and harmonizing them across the LGUs.”

Aside from the Piso Fare, the company also rolls out month-long P25 seat sale, following the announcement that it has permanently removed change fees -- allowing passengers to rebook their flights unlimitedly.

“In a recent survey we conducted, flexibility remains to be one of the considerations of our passengers when deciding to travel again,” she says. “Because of this, we are removing our change fee effective immediately. As we work on rebuilding our network and supporting domestic tourism, we will continue to listen to our passengers so we can make it even more convenient for every Juan to fly again.”
