Overseas Filipinos across all regions registered 109 new COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) cases, 55 recoveries and three new fatalities in the latest tally released by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Tuesday.

With the new numbers coming in, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases involving Filipino nationals abroad is now at 15,023.

Of that total number, 4,547 are considered live cases, 9,455 have recovered and 1,021 died due to coronavirus infections.

To date, the Middle East and Africa remain to be the regions with the most number of confirmed COVID-19 cases, recoveries, under treatment, and fatalities among our nationals.

According to the DFA, the Americas continue to record the least numbers in all categories compared to other geographic regions, except in the total number of deaths wherein Asia and the Pacific ranks lowest with a total of only 21.
