Kapuso actor Abdul Rahman will appear on GMA's "Legal Wives" and although the new teleserye tackles polygamy, the young actor says he won't be be doing that practice.
In a recent online interview, Abdul said: "I personally wouldn't do it. Kaya ko makuntento sa isa."
Abdul will be partnered with StarStruck Season 7 Ultimate female survivor Shayne Sava. This will mark their first teleserye project after taking part in the reality-talent search back in 2019.
"I'm naturally attracted to people with substance at 'yun yung una 'kong nakita kay Shayne, noon pa lang talaga I just found her 'cute' and noong nagkausap na kami, nakakasabay siya sa conversations ko at marami rin siyang nasasabi and mahilig siya sa poets. I found that interesting about her," said Abdul.
Shayne is very comfortable working with Abdul as she explained. "Nung Stars' we just kinda click eh, talagang kami na po yung pinagpe-pair e sa StarStruck. Then nagging click lang po talaga kami sa ugali, kwentuhan."
Abdul spent nine years of his life in UAE. He's a proud Muslim and knows how to speak Arabic.
"Legal Wives" is set to premiere this 2021.
