STA. ANA, Cagayan – The decomposed remains of an unidentified woman were found in the mountainous and forested area of Barangay Casagan here Friday.
Police said the woman was wearing denim pants and pink T-shirt with the words “We make change work for women” and was found around 11 a.m.
Sta. Ana police chief Police Major Ronald Balod said the body was discovered in the morning but it was only reported to them at around 2:30 p.m. by Barangay Chairman Jeorge Peneyra.
Police brought the remains to the Rural Health Unit here for post-mortem examination.
