IMUS CITY, Cavite - The family of the late former Governor Erineo "Ayong" S. Maliksi has opened his wake to the public on Thursday (Feb 25).
In a Facebook post, Imus City Mayor Emmanuel L. Maliksi announced that the wake is being held at Villa Emilia Farm in Barangay Malagasang I-A.
The older Maliksi served as mayor of Imus before representing the second district of Cavite from 1998 to 2001 at the House of Representatives.
He served as Cavite Governor from 2001 to 2010 and returned to the House of Representatives in 2010 to 2013. He was chairperson of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office from 2015 to 2016.
