XLS, XLT and Wildtrak get improvements

Ford Philippines wants pickup buyers to truly ‘Live the Ranger life’ and take on any challenges without fear. To encourage this hardy attitude, the brand unveiled their refreshed 2021 Ranger lineup. The Ranger XLS, XLT and Wildtrak variants all get design enhancements and improvements.
At the entry level, Ranger XLS gets the new trapezoidal grille and its price starts at P1,062,000.
Higher up on the ladder is the Ranger XLT variant, which also gets a new front grille, but with chrome and glossy black accents, black side mirrors, door handles and fog lamps. The XLT starts at P1,176,000.
The Ranger Wildtrakgets more updates, like orange Saber accents and gloss black on it’s new trapezoidal grille. It’s paired with a new lower front bumper, fog lamp bezels, and rear bumper. Towards the side are glossy black alloy wheels, side mirrors, fender grilles, a new roof rail and new tailgate handle. The sports bar also gets Saber inserts. The “Wildtrak” decals on the doors have a new look and the tailgate decal is now 3D. The Wildtrak variant starts at P1,455,000.
Also announced was an exclusive option for the 4×4 Wildtrak: a power roller shutter. An original accessory from Ford, this lockable bed cover is controlled by three buttons on the dashboard, on the key remote, and controls on the pick up bed itself. The price will be announced soon.

The new Ranger XLS, XLT, and Wildtrak variants are now available at all Ford dealerships nationwide. As of February 17, 2021 the Ford Ranger variants now start at P1,062,000 for the Ranger 2.2L XLS 4×2 MT all the way up to P1,998,000 for the Ranger 2.0L BiTurbo Raptor 4×4 AT.
Live the Ranger Life
Bringing the Ranger’s values and persona to life, Ford also unveiledthe new ‘Live the Ranger Life’ philosophy. It’s centered around five guiding values that highlight and celebrate the many ways that the renowned strength and engineering capabilities of the Ranger reflects and support its customers’ personal goals and drive in life.
Each quality has a dedicated video, and even Ford Ranger variant, which Ford will air, be it at their dealerships or official social media channels.
“Live the Ranger Life will allow us to connect with our customers in a deeper and more emotional way by showcasing how the Ranger enables their passions and goals. Beyond their functionality and versatility, pickup trucks have become symbols of success for our customers, and the new Ranger’s refreshed look and design will allow them to fully express their identity and individuality,” added Umashankar.
