A suspended police officer was reportedly abducted by five unidentified men in Sta. Mesa, Manila on Feb. 24, Wednesday.
Police identified the victim as Pat. Real L. Tesoro, 41, assigned to the Regional Personnel Holding and Accounting Section of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).
Investigation showed that Tesoro was riding a motorcycle with his live-in partner along V. Mapa Extension at around 10:05 a.m. when two sports utility vehicles (SUV) blocked their path. Five armed men alighted from the vehicles and forced the police officer into one of the SUVs and fled.
The policeman’s live-in partner was left behind in the motorcycle.
