MPTC chief communication officer, Romulo "Junji" Quimbo, expressed commitment in "continuing to improve" its services through working with its reloading partners, which include Bayad Center, GCash, and PayMaya.

"Continuous system upgrades are being implemented," Quimbo said.

MPTC, the holding company of NLEX Corporation, made the remark after Valenzuela City Mayor Rex Gatchalian gave them three days to address the motorist's complaints regarding the load crediting system.

"NLEX has delivered on commitments to Valenzuela City, especially in addressing heavy traffic in the toll plazas," Quimbo told Manila Bulletin in a Viber message.

"We are looking forward to the success of the pilot 'barrier up' project," he added.

Quimbo also said that they are "in close coordination with the Mayor’s office, so he is aware, and is constantly apprised of developments."

He added that all RFID customer concerns coordinated with them and the local government of Valenzuela are being "addressed as swiftly as possible."

On Saturday (Feb. 20), Gatchalian called the attention of NLEX Corporation after a Twitter user lodged concern before him that her EasyTrip account's load credit did not appear or update in real-time.
