Justin Bieber to headline Kids Choice Awards 2021

It’s a full circle moment for Bieber.

The pop superstar is going to headline this year’s Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards.

The Grammy awarded solo music act has been tapped as the top performer for the 2021 KCA that is slated to air live on all Nickelodeon channels that include Nick Jr., TeenNick and Nicktoons.

“The Kid’s Choice Awards was my first awards show,” said Bieber and added, “returning to share my new music is a full-circle moment (for me).”

The popular Nickelodeon KCA’s show has become a staple entertainment event over the years where pop music, sports, movies and television converge.

Its screaming fans made up mostly of kids and teens is as much a signature of the show as its liberal use of green slime prop that it uses on its awardees.

The latter has since been a welcome badge of honor of sorts for stars.

Bieber said that “although the show may look different this year, the KCA’s are always a ton of fun and there will definitely be no shortage of slime.”

Bieber has over a dozen Kids’ Choice Award wins and this year looks to bag him a few more with five nominations including “Favorite Music Collaboration” for his songs “Holy” with Chance The Rapper, “Lonely” with Benny Blanco, and “Stuck With U” with Ariana Grande.

He also has nominations for “Favorite Song” for “Yummy” and as "Favorite Male Artist.”

Bieber’s main stage spotlight on awards night will be a performance of his 2020 hit “Intentions” where he will be joined by Quavo, and for his most recent single “Anyone.”

Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards 2021 will be hosted by Saturday Night Live’s Kenan Thompson.
