Construction worker’s head crushed by crane truck in Pangasinan

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – A 22-year-old construction worker was killed when a crane truck ran over his head while sleeping in Barangay Baay here last Saturday.

Officer-on-case Police Staff Sgt. Hercules B. Salinas Jr. identified the victim as Jimuel Florante, 22, of TJV Velasco Construction and Supply and resident of Dampigan, Sta. Rita, Samar.

He started early and operated the crane truck but ran over the victim, killing him on the spot),” Salinas said.

Jimuel’s remains were taken by his brother and co-worker foreman Joey Florante, 28, also of Dampigan, Sta. Rita, to the Funeraria Escaño, Padilla St. West, Poblacion, this town, for autopsy.
