Set it on your calendars DC fans.

Zack Snyder’s vision for “Justice League” is all set for its premiere this March 2021 on HBO Max.

An official trailer for the reimagined film was released recently that featured “new action sequences featured in the long-awaited #SnyderCut,” as reported by Rolling Stone magazine.

Said trailer was a mix of scenes that fans are already familiar with from the 2017 film, with updated sequences that reveal Snyder’s original vision for the “Justice League” storyline.

When the original film was released by Warner Bros. in 2017, the movie garnered mixed reviews. Despite earning $657 million at the worldwide movie tills, the film was still considered a bomb set against the $750 million break-even point.

Snyder had to let go of directing the original “Justice League” after her daughter died. Writer-director Joss Whedon was hired to finish the remainder of production, including the addition of new scenes which changed the film.

Fans of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) have been campaigning since 2017 to see Zack Snyder’s original cut of the film. And after a lengthy campaign on social media, fans were able to convince the director. Snyder’s work on the “Justice League” saga will see its culmination when it premieres on the paid streaming service platform HBO Max this March 2021.

The trailer featured several highlights, among them Superman’s black suit that the hero donned right after he returned from death from the Doomsday battle and Jared Leto reprising his role as The Joker and his screen time share with Ben Affleck’s Batman. The film’s rumored 4-hour running time also gives ample space to develop characters Cyborg and The Flash, and the additional scenes where major DC villain Darkseid appears alongside other Apokolips characters.
