In a statement, the group, who has been actively supporting the Office of the Vice President’s Angat-Buhay projects in the region, said they wanted to spread love in various communities.

They worked together with the military to feed the elderly, children, and vendors in Iloilo City on February 14, Valentine’s Day.

“This is our small way of sharing love to our countrymen who have been abandoned or neglected by their families,” said Aurelio Servando, lead organizer and volunteer.

They extended the feeding program to Asilo de Molo, which houses the elderly and impoverished children, as well as in Brgy. Fundidor, Molo, where there are hundreds of indigents.

Along the way, the group also distributed food packs to small vendors and people living in the streets.

The vice president’s supporters in Iloilo have been actively supporting her office and projectS. They also showed their “steadfast support” to the vice president amid the ongoing legal battle arising from the protest filed by former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr. who lost to Robredo in the 2016 elections.

“Tuloy-tuloy lang ang pagtulong namin dito sa probinsya. Kapag nagpasya si Vice President Robredo na tumakbong pangulo, buo ang aming suporta sa kanya (We will continue helping here in the province. Once Vice President Robredo decides to run as president, we will fully support her).”
